Rocky Hill

This is a 22 acre parcel of mixed wetlands and forest. It is south of Rocky Hill Road at #431. The easiest way to find it is to look across the street from house #382 Rocky Hill Road. It borders on the Woonsocket Reservoir #3 to the east. The yellow blazed trail runs about 3/4 of a mile with a loop at the south end. The trail passes stone walls and has two bridges that cross intermittent streams. The property is a great place to see birds and animals of all types. Walkers, hikers and birders are always welcome. Leashed dogs are permitted, and pet waste must be removed. The land was donated in 2014 by National Grid as part of the offset program for expanding the rights-of-way for the electric and gas service corridors in North Smithfield.
